Configuring a new data source

In addition to the first data source integrated with Ortto as part of the getting started with Ortto process, the Data sources page allows you can also integrate more data sources with Ortto, as well as import data from a data source.

To configure a new data source integration to Ortto:

On the Data sources page, click New data source.
On the New data source page:
- Click the type of data source to integrate with Ortto, or whose data is to be imported, from the Popular tab.
- Otherwise, if the data source is not available on this tab, click the tab that best represents your company’s type of business or category of data source:
  - E-commerce — supported e-commerce platforms:
    
    Magento 2 (coming soon),
    
    Shopify,
    
    PrestaShop,
    
    BigCommerce, and
    
    WooCommerce — if you already have an operating WooCommerce site and have installed the Ortto plugin to this site, you can proceed directly to connect to WooCommerce from Ortto.
  - Payments — supported payment platforms:
    
    Chargebee,
    
    Recurly, and
    
    Stripe.
  - CRM — supported customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and related applications/sources of data:
    
    Spreadsheet (CSV),
    
    HubSpot.
    
    Pipedrive, and
    
    Salesforce.
  - Helpdesk — supported helpdesk integration platforms:
    
    Zendesk.
  - Advertising — supported social media and advertising platforms:
    
    Twitter,
    
    Google Ads, and
    
    Facebook.
  - Integrations — supported 3rd party integration platforms:
    
    Segment,
    
    Zapier,
    
    Calendly, and
    
    Typeform.
  - Others — other integration mechanisms and sources of data:
    
    Custom API, and
    
    Webhook.
