Home suggestions overview

The Home suggestions feature was designed to provide guidance on getting started with Ortto. We recommend that you work through the onboarding checklist to get the most out of your account.

Turning ON home suggestions

To turn ON the Home suggestions feature go to Settings > General > Use the ON/OFF toggle > Save.

Accessing home suggestions

To access the Home suggestions, go to > Get Started located on the left hand menu.

Managing home suggestions

Home suggestions provides guidance on the following:

• Creating your account
• Adding your existing contacts
• Setting up your brand book
• Building your first campaign
• Inviting team members

Create your account

This step will already be complete, but you can update your profile settings at any time by clicking the profile icon in the bottom left corner when logged in.

Add your existing contacts

You can add your contacts by importing a CSV file, or connecting to a data source.

Set up your brand book

The brand book is a guide which will define your visual identity and ensure consistency across all of your communications and touch points.

Setting up your brand book will customize the appearance of your campaign messages & capture widgets based on your brand colors, logo and default template styles.

Build your first campaign

You can create your first campaign to engage with your customers from scratch, or choose to start with one of the ready-made templates. This could be either a Journey, Playbook, SMS, Push or Email campaign.

Invite team members

You can invite team members to Ortto so that you're able to collaborate on campaigns and access your insights across the team.

You can use permissions to make sure each user has access to exactly what they need. If you’re using Inbox, you can also invite your agents here.

Dismiss the get started tab

Once you've familiarized yourself with our platform and no longer need the introductory tips, you can easily dismiss the Get started tab.

You have two options to dismiss the Get started tab:

1. On the Get started tab, you'll find the dismiss getting started option highlighted.

or

2. To toggle off the Get started tab go to Settings > General > Use the ON/OFF toggle > Save.
