Regulatory bundles

The Regulatory bundles page allows you to configure/upload documents for one or more regulatory bundles to your Ortto account, where a regulatory bundle represents a set of documents that identifies a person or business entity in a given country.

Certain countries require software organizations like Ortto to collect such a regulatory bundle, so that these organizations' products can legally utilize mobile numbers and send SMS messages (i.e. from Ortto’s SMS and journey campaigns).

NOTE: You can only configure one regulatory bundle per country at a time.

Check if your country requires a regulatory bundle

To check if your country requires a regulatory bundle:

  1. On the Settings > SMS > Regulatory bundles page, click New regulatory bundle.
  2. On the regulatory bundle’s Setup page, use the Phone number’s country list to locate your country. If your country is not shown, then you do not need to upload a regulatory bundle and you do not need to proceed any further.
