System person fields

Overview

This page shows the built-in fields available under the Person category when you use the Filter option to segment your customer data.

Selecting a field will display different filter conditions based on your choice.

Accessing fields

To access the fields page, go to Settings > Customer data > Fields.

Description (Return people…​)

Tag

Who match the tag value you specify.

Proximity

Who match the distance and location you specify.

Engagement

Who have a specific star rating value.

Name

Who match the name value you specify. First name and last name are treated as a single value. For example, if you use the letter a as a filter value:

  • contains will return matches with a in either the first or last name, but
  • starts with will return only matches whose first name starts with a.

First name

Who match any part of a first name value only.

Last name

Who match any part of a last name value only.

Email

Who match the email address value you specify.

Birthday

Who match the relative or absolute date you specify. Relative dates are calculated from the day you choose them (e.g. 2 days ago will capture a different date span depending on when you specify it). Absolute dates are specific dates that are not affected by when you choose them (e.g. April 1 2022 to April 30, 2022).

Phone number

Who match the phone number value you specify.

City

Who match the city value you specify.

Region

Who match the region value you specify.

Postal code

Who match the postal code value you specify.

Country

Who match the country value you specify.

Created

Whose record was created in your Ortto account’s customer data platform (CDP) on the relative or absolute date you specify.

Edited

Whose CDP record was last edited on the relative or absolute date you specify.

First seen

Whose first interaction was on the relative or absolute date you specify.

Last seen

Whose last interaction was on the relative or absolute date you specify.

Initial UTM campaign source

Who match the initial UTM campaign source value you specify.

Initial UTM campaign name

Who match the initial UTM campaign name value you specify.

Initial UTM campaign medium

Who match the initial UTM campaign medium value you specify.

Email permission

Email unsubscribe date

Who unsubscribed from email on the relative or absolute date you specify.

Email subscribe date

Total spent

Who match the dollar value you specify.

Total attributed

Who match the dollar value you specify.

Initial source

When profiles are added to the people list, whether manually created or imported via spreadsheet, a field called 'Source' is automatically set. This field indicates how the profile was added and cannot be changed once the profile is created. This is a read-only field.

Initial URL

This field is based on the URL of the contact's first recorded website visit. Once set, it cannot be edited. This is a read-only field.

Subscribed via URL

Who match the URL value you specify.

SMS permission

Who match the SMS permission value you specify.

SMS unsubscribe date

Who unsubscribed from SMS on the relative or absolute date you specify.

SMS subscribe date

Who subscribed to SMS on the relative or absolute date you specify.

External ID

Who match the external ID value you specify.
