Working with organizations
Ortto’s organizations feature provides you with access to all of your Ortto account’s organization data associated with your customers/people, where this data originates from all data sources configured through your Ortto account. This could include organization information associated with people who have user accounts in these data sources.
An organization allows you to associate one or more people in your CDP with information about the organization to which they belong.
Your Ortto account’s people data and associated organization data is known as your customer data platform (CDP). This forms the centralized source of truth for all information related to your customers and people managed through your Ortto account.
Access the organizations page
To access the Organizations page feature, you must first have enabled the Organizations feature through the Settings > General page. This feature may also have been enabled automatically by a data source you may have already integrated with Ortto.
To access Ortto’s Organizations page:
- Ensure you are signed in to Ortto.
- Click Organizations in the navigation drawer on the left to open Ortto’s Organizations page, which lists all organizations associated with your Ortto account’s customer data.On this page, you can manage all aspects of your CDP’s organizations in Ortto, including the ability to:
- add organizations, and
- manage organizations, which includes:
