Creating a NPS capture widget

NPS capture widget overview

NPS (Net Promoter Score) ratings are a widely used tool to measure customer satisfaction and loyalty. They typically consist of a single question: "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend our product/service to a friend or colleague?" Based on respondents' ratings, they are categorized into three groups: Promoters (score 9-10), Passives (score 7-8), and Detractors (score 0-6).

NOTE: The Net Promoter Score (NPS) component is accessible within the following capture widget types: Notification, Banner, Takeover, and Popup.

Creating an NPS capture widget

To create a Net promoter score (NPS) capture widget:

  1. Navigate to Capture.
  2. Select New Widget.
  3. Select Start from scratch.
  4. Choose the widget type that aligns best with your requirements from the available options for NPS.
  5. Select Edit on the capture widget details page.
  6. Select Add content and select Net promoter score (NPS):

CAUTION: The NPS component cannot be used alongside the following components: Form, Coupon, Reaction, and Survey. If any of these components are currently active, remove them by clicking on the trash icon.

Hover over the component and select the trash icon.

Customizing the capture widget

  1. Customize the Message, Button, and Instructions:
  2. Next, customize the following Feedback sections:



  • Detractor: This will be shown when someone selects an option between 0 to 6.
  • Passive: This will be shown when someone selects an option between 7 to 8.
  • Promoter: This will be shown when someone selects an option between 9 to 10.

7. Customize the thank you message which will be shown when someone submits any response:



TIP: If you want to display a different thank you message depending on the option the person has chosen (Detractor, Passive, or Promoter), you can add a variant for each one. See below for instructions on how to do this.

  1. On the Thanks section, click Add variant:
