File manager
Overview
Ortto's File manager allows you to navigate, search, and select images and documents for your emails. You can also manage existing imported files that might be already available from existing campaigns.
Accessing file manager
To access the File manager, go to Campaigns > Create a new campaign or Campaigns > Select edit on an existing campaign.
Add an Image content block and then select Browse or select an image previously included. Then access by selecting Change image on the right-hand side Content panel.

Managing the file manager
The File manager page allows you to:
File manager limits
- The maximum allowed file size you can upload is 10MB.
- The maximum recommended width is 1920px.
- The following file extensions cannot be uploaded to the file manager: .js, .cjs, .mjs, .php, .phtml, .php3, .php4, .php5, .php7, .phps, .php-s, .pht, .phar, .HTML, .zip, .rar, and archive file formats.
- Files or images can't be moved from one folder to another.

Browser, search, and sort existing files
In the File manager, locate the search field in the top right corner. Type your file name to find matching search results instantly.
Import new images or files
To add new files:
- Select Upload.
- Locate and select the file or image from your device.
- Click Open.
Insert an image or file
When the File manager is open:
- Access the folder or hover over the file or image.
- Select Insert.
Delete images or files.
To delete an existing image or file:
- Access the File manager.
- Select the trash can icon.
Create folders
To create new folders, you can select the Add folder icon in the top right-hand corner.
- In the Folder name input, add the name.
- Select the Add folder icon to confirm.
Deleting folders
To delete a folder, it must be empty. If the folder contains files or images, you won't be able to click the trash icon.
Steps to delete a folder:
- Manage content: Ensure that all files and images within the folder are either deleted or moved to another location.
- Delete the older: Once the folder is empty, you can click the trash icon to delete it.
How to return to the file manager home page
If you have accessed a folder within the file manager, you can return home by selecting the home icon.
