List of currencies - Ortto help

Ortto can ingest activity data in a number of different currencies, so that you can send customer activities with currency values from all over the world.

To send data in different currencies, the field type needs to be prc (price), which is a multi currency field type. It is used:

As an activity attribute field type.
As an activity conversion value for attribution.

When sending multi currency activity data, you need to specify the currency code, the value, and the associated date. Specifying the date is required so that Ortto can generate a currency conversion from the original activity currency (e.g. EUR € ) to your account’s default currency (e.g. USD $) based on the foreign exchange rate at the time the activity occurred. This enables you to filter and report on activity data in your default currency.

1	The activity attribute which is a multi currency type field.
2	The value for `"c"` is the ISO currency code, which you can find for each valid currency in the table below.
3	The value for `"a"` is the amount the person spent. NOTE: Currency values must be multiplied by 1000 (so, in this example `350000` = `$350.00`)
4	The values for `"d"` are the date and timezone associated with the transaction. A list of timezone values is available here.
5	The conversion value of the activity, using the same format as the activity attribute (1) to set the currency code (2), conversion value (3), and the timezone (4).
