Email preference center

The Preference center page allows you to configure the content of Ortto’s web pages for its email subscription preferences. These web pages are accessible when the recipient of an Ortto email message (sent from an email or journey campaign) clicks on the Update preferences link in the email footer.

NOTE: If your account has no public audiences (you have not added any audiences to the email preference center), then the email preference center will not be available to your contacts. This means that contacts will only see an Unsubscribe link in the default email footer provided by Ortto.

Edit an audience's public name and description

For audiences added to your email preference center, you can provide a public name (subscription name) and description for the audiences you want displayed in your email preference center.

Giving your audiences useful names related to their purpose will help your contacts decide which audience they want to remain subscribed to. For example, give your audiences names like “Newsletter”, “Announcements”, “User onboarding” and so on, so people know what to expect.

To edit the descriptions of your audiences, click the audience name to access the display text options. Edit the text in the Subscription name and Description fields, as required.
