What does this mean?
Before you send your first email campaign or switch ON your first Playbook you may see a message that our support team needs to verify your details and that you will be notified when your account is verified. You haven’t done anything wrong to see this message, it’s a verification check every account must go through in order to send email from Ortto.
We do this to stop bad actors on our platform or users that intend to violate Ortto’s acceptable usage policy.
How long does approval take?
Approvals generally take under 6 hours, but may take up to 24 hours. The majority of accounts will be verified almost immediately. Sometimes we will require more information from you and this may extend the time taken for approval.
Do paid accounts need to be verified?
All accounts need to be verified, even if you become a paying subscriber this will not change the verification process.
How will I know once I’m approved?
You will be notified by email when your account is approved. You can also see the status of the approval by clicking "Get help" in Ortto.
