Intercom person fields
Overview
Intercom contacts are merged into your customer data platform (CDP) on the initial connection with Intercom.
Accessing Intercom person fields
Navigate to Settings > Customer data > Fields > Select All > Intercom.
Working with Intercom contacts
You can view and filter your Intercom contacts on the People page in Ortto.
- Click the cog icon to customize field visibility and add or remove Intercom fields.
- Use filters to find contacts based on Intercom person fields or activities.

EX: To see all contacts created in Ortto via the Intercom integration, go to the People page and filter for Initial source is Intercom.

How to filter by Intercom fields:
- Go to the People page and click Filter.
- Select Intercom contact, then choose the fields to filter by.
- Click Done.

Person fields added from Intercom
This table lists the Intercom person fields that are added to your Ortto account after integrating Ortto with Intercom.

Contact ID | Text (string) | The unique identifier for the contact which is given by Intercom. |
Contact email | The contact’s email address. | |

Contact name | Text (string) | The contact’s name. |
Contact has hard bounced | Boolean | Whether the contact has had an email sent to them hard bounce. |
Contact marked email as spam | Boolean | Whether the contact has marked an email sent to them as spam. |
Contact unsubscribed from emails | Boolean | Whether the contact is unsubscribed from emails. |
Contact type | Text (string) | The type of object. |
Contact workspace ID | Text (string) | The id of the workspace which the contact belongs to. |
Contact external ID | Text (string) | An external ID set for the contact. |
Contact role | Text (string) | The role of the contact. |
Contact owner ID | Text (string) | The id of an Intercom admin that has been assigned account ownership of the contact. |
Contact created at | Time and date | The time when the contact was created. |
Contact updated at | Time and date | The time when the contact was updated. |
Contact signed up at | Time and date | The time when the contact signed-up. |
Contact last seen at | Time and date | The time when the contact was last seen (either where the Intercom Messenger was installed or when specified manually). |
Contact last replied at | Time and date | The time when the contact last messaged in. |
Contact last contacted at | Time and date | The time when the contact was last messaged. |
Contact last email opened at | Time and date | The time when the contact last opened an email. |
Contact last email clicked at | Time and date | The time when the contact last clicked a link in an email. |
Contact language override | Text | A preferred language setting for the contact, used by Intercom even if their browser settings change. |
