Autopilot: Action - Assign Salesforce Lead

This action allows you to:

• assign someone in a Journey to a particular Salesforce user; and
• set their Lead Source and Lead Status.

If someone was first created in Autopilot and isn't yet in Salesforce, then by default they will be added to Salesforce as a Lead when they enter this action.

How to configure the action

Follow the steps below to configure this action:

Note that:

• The options available under Lead Source and Lead Status are populated from your Salesforce account.
• If you do not want to overwrite the existing owner (if the Lead already has one), select the "Keep current assignment if it exists" option.

Can I use this action to assign Salesforce Contacts?

Yes, you can do this by selecting the Contact object:
