How to send campaign notifications and performance summaries

Overview

This article explains campaign notifications and performance summaries, and how to enable or disable them for each campaign type.

Campaign notification types


What are campaign notifications?

Campaign notifications keep you informed when your campaign is successfully sent and provide performance insights from the first 24 hours.

If you enable notifications, you'll receive:

  • A notification when the campaign is sent, including the number of successful subscribers and an image preview.
  • A summary of the campaign results 24 hours after it’s sent.

NOTE: This feature is available for Email and SMS campaigns only.

Email campaign notifications

To set your account’s default notification and email preferences:

  1. Click your user name in the bottom-left corner and select Profile Settings.
  2. Go to the General tab to manage your preferences.
  3. To receive campaign notifications and performance summary emails, check the appropriate boxes and click Save.

These settings will apply to all Ortto accounts you have access to.

NOTE: Once this is enabled, only new email and SMS campaigns will receive the successfully sent email notifications and summary results for the first 24 hours in the follow-up email.


Journey campaign notifications

When you enable Journey email notifications, selected account users will receive regular emails with a snapshot report and a link to the Report tab for the journey.

To turn on Journey email notifications:

  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns > Select your Journey.
  2. Click on More.
  3. Select Email notifications.

4. Click ON.

5. Select the Recipients and Schedule (the schedule can be set Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Monthly).

6. Select Done.

Once you set a schedule and configure email notifications, you’ll receive updates based on that schedule. These emails will include campaign results from the Report tab and a View report button that takes you directly to the page.

NOTE: Recipients will receive email notifications around 9:00 AM in their timezone, based on the schedule set. A specific time cannot be selected.


Playbook campaign notifications

When you enable email notifications, selected account users will receive regular emails with a snapshot report and a link to the Report tab in the playbook.

To turn on Playbook email notifications:

  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns > Select your Playbook.
  2. Click More.
  3. Select Email notifications.

  4. Click ON.

  6. Select Done.
